Job overview

The Swiss International School of Qatar is seeking a dynamic and innovative Library and Technology Assistant. The successful applicant will be based in the Secondary Library and will assist the Teaching Librarian with the following tasks: managing students in the library, checking books in and out, organising / shelving / ordering books, answering student and staff queries, recommending books and online research resources, advising students on academic honesty and referencing. Training will be provided but library experience would be an advantage and strong online research skills are essential.

In addition, the Library and Technology Assistant will be responsible for  further Technology Integration in the school. Advanced Google / G Suite skills are essential. Experience and understanding of any of the following educational programmes would be an advantage: Google Classroom, Managebac, iSams, Seesaw, Turnitin, BridgeU. An ability and willingness to run training sessions for staff and students would also be a great advantage.
