Sidmouth is a very warm, welcoming and calm environment in which to develop as a member of staff or a child.   The school has around 380 enthusiastic children that have a thirst for learning, enthusiasm and were awarded a very well deserved ‘outstanding’ Ofsted comment for their behaviour and attitude.

You would become part of our team of talented, hardworking and dedicated staff and governors who offer strong support and appropriate challenge, encouraging and promoting a strong ethos of regular CPD. At Sidmouth everyone has very high expectations of all.  Our last Ofsted Inspection (November 2016) resulted in an overall outcome of ‘Good’.

In September 2018 the school converted to Academy Status, joining with the Yorkshire and Humber Co-operative Learning Trust (YHCLT) which is a group of 6 primary schools and 2 secondary schools. All members hold co-operative values centrally to all that we do and children are at the heart of all decision making. CPD opportunities are excellent for YHCLT staff.
