Lower KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are looking to appoint a patient, flexible and enthusiastic Lower KS2 Teaching Assistant to work in our Year 3 class.  You will need to have some knowledge of Phonics and have good communication skills, be organised, and be able to work independently

You will provide general support to a wide range of students in various environments throughout the school. Although initially working in Year 3, you may be asked to work in any KS2 class

This is a temporary post until July 2018 in the first instance but with the possibility of it becoming a permanent contract.

· be able to work on their own initiative

· assist in the running of daily Breakfast Club 

You will work in partnership with class teachers to support learning in line with the National Curriculum, codes of practice, school policies and procedures.

​In addition to their other roles and responsibilities, Teaching Assistants are also required to provide lunchtime cover, either in the dining room or on the playground.

Teaching Assistants may be asked to participate in after school clubs for which additional payments can be claimed.
