Job overview

Term time only + 10 days

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, organised and motivated Management Information Officer to join our high performing trust.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with outstanding ICT skills, excellent communication skills, good time management, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will also need to have strong accuracy, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

The role involves working alongside the Trust CEO, Executive Director of Curriculum and Director of Data & Exams to increase our management information reporting and analysis to support decision making as part of raising achievement. You will play a key part in the development of the MI reporting and analysis for the Trust.

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is an education charity with a track record and national reputation of revolutionary school improvement. We are an organisation which puts students first: we care deeply about children and our aim is to raise standards across not only our own academies but across the wider educational system and ultimately transform children’s life-chances.

The Outwood Institute of Education works closely with Outwood Grange Academies Trust teams. It hosts a wide range of events, training and conferences for all OGAT academies and external customers. The Outwood Institute of Education is housed in a purpose built conference centre in the grounds of Outwood Academy Adwick, an outstanding academy.

While support will be available from the Trust’s data team, you will need to work with minimal supervision. As such you will be motivated, have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to prioritise your workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience of producing MI reports and data analysis is essential. You will be confident in using Microsoft Excel to a high level and have had exposure to analytics tools. You will also need to possess a solid understanding of educational data and technologies.

This post is based at Outwood Grange Academy, Wakefield, with occasional travel to academy sites across the North of England. You will be entitled to claim travel expenses.

About The Outwood Grange Academies Trust (OGAT)

Interim Chief Executive Officer: Lee Wilson

The Outwood Grange Academies Trust was born out of the success of Outwood Grange: a large school with 2,200 students, which has achieved record results for the last decade.

As one of the highest performing Family of Schools in the North of England, we have transformed education and outcomes across a network of 40 primary and secondary academies. Working closely together and sharing best practice, our schools do whatever it takes to ensure that every child, irrespective of starting point, can realise his or her full potential and unique talents.

Whether you’re joining us as a support staff member, an ECT, in a leadership position, and everything in between, we will invest in you and your development throughout your career.

By all working together, supporting and motivating each other, we believe we can raise current standards, and transform the lives of our students. If, as a Trust, we support you to help you reach your potential, we can help ensure all the children you teach will also reach theirs.

Please note that you are wholly responsible for fact checking in respect of the information provided by schools. Please also check for the latest visa and work permit requirements that may apply.
