École Jeannine Manuel, in the heart of Bloomsbury, London, is now recruiting a teacher of Mandarin for its secondary school to start in September 2018.
We are a 3-18 co-educational independent bilingual French international day school with both French and IB Diploma Programme tracks in Sixth Form. Our Paris sister school and namesake has been ranked first in France for the last five years.
We are looking for teachers who can transmit their own energy and love of learning to able pupils from diverse cultural backgrounds, but who are also keenly engaged in teamwork and a quest for self-improvement. About Ecole Jeannine Manuel
École Jeannine Manuel is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through school with nursery but without sixth form, situated in Bloomsbury, Central London. Opened in September 2015, it is the sister school of an elite private day school in France, also called École Jeannine Manuel and founded in 1954.
The London branch of École Jeannine Manuel is an Ofsted-registered independent school which will provide 500 places for nursery, primary and secondary-aged students when fully subscribed. It currently enrols pupils through to Year 10, and is working towards introducing students up to Year 13. The original École Jeannine Manuel is France’s largest non-denominational independent school, with more than 3,250 students across both Paris and Lille.

École Jeannine Manuel shares its Parisian sister school’s pedagogical principles. With the motto “International understanding through a bilingual education", it was formed on the basis of developing bilingual education from as early as nursery-school level.
It bases its curriculum around children's natural creativity and desire to learn. Its approach to education involves introducing children to a basic set of skills as well as teaching them to think critically and boost their self-confidence.
