The Rodillian Multi Academy Trust Head office at The Featherstone Academy, Pontefract Road, Featherstone, WF7 5AJ

Pay Scale - SCP 39 – 43 (£43,570 - £47,665 per annum)

Working Pattern – 37 Hours per week, all year round

Contract - Permanent

The Rodillian Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced marketing and communications professional to establish and maintain a distinct and positive corporate identity and image for the Trust and its academies. We are looking for an individual who can coordinate the development of a public relations and marketing strategy and to drive forward marketing operations in line with the Trust Strategic Plan. You will raise the Trust profile nationally and enhance external perceptions through our website, other IT platforms and activities through innovative and artistic marketing.

The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to present innovative and creative marketing campaigns to the Executive Team, Board and academy Principals with flair and ambition. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust, promoting our academies to students, parents, potential future employees and the wider communities. You will be educated to degree level in a relevant field, ideally with a marketing focus and you will have experience of working in a busy marketing environment at a senior level.

Joining the Trust now offers a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the next phase of development for the Trust. We are proud to have 4 academies already rated good or outstanding with strong educational outcomes, and we achieve top ratings at our independent alternative provision. We are recognised as one of the top performing Trusts in the country, committed to providing private school opportunities in a modern comprehensive environment. We believe that traditional values of discipline and respect are sacrosanct. We do not tolerate bullying, defiance or rudeness to staff and this has made for a harmonious and safe learning environment for our young people, and a supportive environment for staff.

Prospective candidates are welcome to contact Georgina Warren at gwarren@rodillianacademy.co.uk to discuss this opportunity further.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure check by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

We are a Trust of four academies, an alternative provision independent school and a University Technical College (UTC) based in West and North Yorkshire.

With a strong focus on resilience, growth mindset and Positive Discipline, the Rodillian ethos has helped to transform schools – from their culture to their Ofsted ratings – as well as the lives of students and teachers.

We are committed to doing things differently – creating schools that students want to attend, and where teachers want to work.

We raise aspiration levels for staff, students and schools by encouraging creativity in the classroom, and by giving our staff freedom to experiment with their teaching.

We strive to develop a growth mindset in each of our young people and our staff – a belief that intelligence is not fixed or inherited but can be improved if we learn from our mistakes and continually work hard.

All of this is guided by our Positive Discipline policy – a traditional approach to behaviour management, innovative curriculum design and excellence in teaching that delivers the best possible outcomes.

Our Academies are all clustered within 30 minutes travelling distance of one another, allowing us the ability to provide high quality networks and support.
