The Fashion Retail Academy (Ofsted outstanding) is a unique, industry led academy. Founded by retail giants, we offer a range of exclusive Fashion courses with unparalleled industry involvement to ensure our students gain the skills and contacts needed to successfully progress to employment.
Supported by and working closely with over 130 fashion brands, from high street staples to digital giants and luxury brands, we offer a wide range of specialist fashion Diploma, Degree and Short courses, many of these exclusive to the FRA with start dates throughout the year.
The FRA is undergoing a period of significant growth and change and as a result we are seeking a proactive and positive Marketing and Events Executive to support and assist our Marketing and Sales department and play a crucial part in helping us to achieve our ambitious growth plans.
The primary aim of this role is to increase student applications and the conversion of these to enrolled learners. Working closely with the Applicant Marketing Manager, the Marketing and Events Executive will be responsible for events, including open days, applicant days and external events, ensuring that all events are successful and run smoothly and lead to increased conversion. The Marketing and Events Executive will also have specific responsibility for larger external recruitment events for diploma and under graduate courses. This will incorporate organisation of stands, materials, staffing and budgetary responsibility.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Marketing or Events role as well previous experience and knowledge of CRM Systems and how to create direct mails, customer lists and use social media platforms. You must also be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have a technical understanding of Webinar software.
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of project management and is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to short deadlines. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have strong copywriting skills. You will need an understanding of the fashion industry and the courses we offer to generate relevant, engaging content and campaigns.
