Job overview

Established in 2015, Batley Multi Academy Trust’s sole purpose is to provide an outstanding education through our family of schools. The Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School and Upper Batley High School, providing high quality education for both boys and girls of secondary age. This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout both of our schools – both schools sharing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique character.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and highly capable Caretaker to join our Multi Academy Trust. The successful applicant will have previous experience of Caretaking work, or a role which includes similar duties. Responsible to the Assistant Head - Facilities, the Caretaker will deliver an effective, courteous and responsive service to the schools with the Trust. The working hours will be a split shift between 7am and 6.30pm. Some flexibility outside of these hours may be required on a pre-arranged basis. The role will also be split across the MAT schools, sometimes requiring attendance at more than one site per day. Own transport and a full, clean driving licence is therefore essential (travel expenses will be covered).

Further information regarding the role is available from the Job Description and Person Specification located on both of our school websites or from the Human Resources Department (contact details below).

Please apply by completing a Batley Multi Academy Trust application form, available at www.batleygirls.co.uk or by contacting the Human Resources department on 01924 350081/ recruitment@batleymultiacademytrust.co.uk, for consideration by our selection panel.
