About the Role

Galleywall Primary School City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a Class Teacher to ideally start as soon as possible to cover a maternity leave, along with the key deliverables of the role, these are all included in the Job Description.

Galleywall opened in September 2016 and was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in 2019. We reached our full complement of children from Reception to Year 6 in September 2022. Our SATS results in 2023 were all above national average and are on track to increase significantly in subsequent years. This will be achieved by our broad and innovative curriculum and a highly professional and committed staff team.

The school has recently appointed a new Headteacher and has committed to further building its already outstanding holistic offer, second to none in the private or state sectors.

We welcome early applications and reserve the right to close the shortlist if sufficient candidates of the right calibre apply. The recruitment process will be held in the following week and will involve an interview, written task, teaching a class or group, a tour of the school and the chance to meet staff.
