operates according to the French law for all administrative and financial rules, and to the European Schools system for the curriculum and pedagogical aspects (https://www.eursc.eu/).

The mission of the European Schools is to provide for nursery, primary and secondary level students a multilingual and multicultural education. They are aimed primarily for children of European institutions staff.

L’École Européenne Lille Métropole Jacques Delors provides English-speaking and French-speaking sections, for nursery, primary and secondary cycles.

We are a young and creative team, our school only opened in 2019. For the next academic year, our school will welcome more than 700 students, and we’re still growing.

The salary is based on the Education Nationale pay scale.

We are looking for an English native or near native speaker (at least C2) (B2 level in French), who is experienced and wants to join an ambitious team.

The main required skills are those included in the ¡¥referentiel de competences des metiers du professorat et de l¡¦education¡¦ (arrete du 1 juillet 2013 - J. O. du 18 juillet 2013).

Particular attention will be given to the following aspects :

• Your ability to work in a team, foster and promote the European School project in a multicultural environment.
• Your command of the curriculum of the European Schools.
• Your capacity to implement innovative teaching methods, and to involves tudents in multidisciplinary projects.
• Your mastery of digital tools as applied to teaching in order to foster learning.
• Having experience with students facing difficulties will be appreciated.
