The International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) is a highly regarded independent coeducational, non-profit day school serving the international community of Central Switzerland. Our student body is made up of over 1200 students from 52 different nationalities, ages 3 to 18 years across two campuses. As an IB World School, we offer the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. In addition, students in Grades 11 and 12 have the option of taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

For our Zug Campus in Walterswil/Baar, ISZL is seeking a:

Middle School Mathematics Teacher - Full-time (Maternity Cover, starting late September until Summer 2020)

The successful applicant will be a qualified and experienced mathematics teacher, who is able to teach mathematics to our Grade 7 & 8 students, aged 12-14 years old. The applicant must demonstrate deep mathematical understanding and be able to find creative and effective ways in which to support our engaged and highly-competent students. Candidates will demonstrate a clear understanding of working with this specific age range means, with recognition and experience of the support mechanisms students need at this important time in their lives. The successful applicant will be expected to be part of our extensive sports and activities after-school program.

Applicants are required to hold a recognized teaching qualification and be eligible for a Swiss work permit.

The International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) is an independent, mixed, non-denominational, not-for-profit, international school, situated in Central Switzerland. The school has over 1,200 students on its roll from over 50 different nationalities, aged 3 to 18 years, across two campuses. Students attend from Early Years to Grade 12.

As an IB World School, The International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) offers the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. The International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) was founded in 2008 following the merger of the International School of Zug, The Riverside School (which was founded in 1990 as a university preparatory high school) and the International School of Luzern.
