Bridge AP Academy is a secondary alternative provision (AP) academy that provides full-time education and support for up to 150 learners who are not accessing mainstream schools. We have an inclusive philosophy and believe passionately in giving every learner we meet many chances to succeed. The Bridge AP Academy was judged Good in all areas by Ofsted in February 2017. At Key Stage 3 learners are taught the core subjects alongside a thematic curriculum.

Ideally, we are seeking a Primary teacher interested in working in AP to teach Maths at KS3 and also preferably some Engish/Literacy. This job is about more than teaching. It’s about turning around the lives of vulnerable learners. Yes, it’s a big challenge, but it’s also an inspiring opportunity to work with young people with complex needs who require extra support to achieve their ambitions.
