Maths Teaching Assistant

Start as soon as possible

D4 £18,933.00 (£13,578.22 pro rata)

38 weeks a Year, 32 hours a week

Interviews Week Commencing 17th May 2021

The successful candidate will work as a Teaching Assistant in Maths classes throughout all key stages. In addition to working closely with teaching staff, they will plan and deliver small intervention group sessions and one-to-one sessions for students who would benefit from innovative and targeted skilled support in Mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a good Maths background and be able to show excellent subject knowledge. They will be able to give clear and concise instruction to students of all abilities that will lead to a greater understanding of the Maths subject. In addition to working within the Maths Department, the successful candidate will be part of a very supportive and experienced team of Teaching Assistants and may be required to support in other subject areas as and when required.
