We require an enthusiastic, experienced, talented and caring teacher to teach Mathematics to Years 5 to 8 during the Summer Term 2019.
Godstowe is a thriving, busy school enjoying a famous reputation in its field. The successful candidate will join a highly professional team of teachers in our Maths department. Children at Godstowe in Years 5 to 8 are taught by specialist subject teachers in each area of the curriculum. Classes are small (a maximum of 18 pupils) and pupils are streamed by ability.
The timetable is spread over five days (Mondays to Fridays), to be taught between 9am and 3.15pm. During the second half of the summer term, the timetable could be reduced to 15 lessons per week, if desired.
An above average, competitive rate of pay is offered to the successful candidate and will take account of experience gained as a teacher.

Godstowe was founded by two strong, progressive women, originally in fact as a school whose purpose would be to prepare girls for the move down the hill to Wycombe Abbey School. Their vision was for an innovative, academic and broad education for girls and, without a doubt, this continues to live on in today’s school.
