St Dominic’s School, an Autism Accredited school rated “Good” by Ofsted, is a weekly residential and day school catering for up to 110 students between the age of 7 – 19 who have a range of academic abilities but with complex special needs.
St Dominic's offers a truly multi-disciplinary approach. Teachers work with therapy and care staff to enhance the learning process and provide an exciting waking day curriculum.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-driven, flexible and talented teacher to teach maths across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Candidates must be able to convey the subject to pupils and students who have a range of abilities and monitor and assess to ensure the best possible progress. The successful candidate will have a commitment to developing outstanding practice and the desire and drive to improve educational outcomes and life chances for our very special pupils and students.
Applications are welcome from both NQTs and experienced teachers. Experience of working within a SEN setting is desirable, but not essential.
