The Creative Media department are looking for a Point 0.65 hours Instructor to support our L2 and L3 Btec programmes, providing technical, practical and assignment based support to our learners in TV & Film and journalism.
About the role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled Instructor to provide technical support, facilitation and instruction across a range of creative media disciplines. Candidates need to support our high expectations in supporting our learners both on a campus setting, but also out on location, requiring a high level of technical competence and up to date knowledge of video production and editing techniques. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and knowledge of working in a production environment.
Qualifications desired/essential
Essential Degree or equivalent in TV and Film Production, experience and practical application of up to date video and editing skills. Showreel of previous production work to demonstrate industry expectations and application. High level technical vocabulary. Previous experience of instructing, facilitating and or supporting learners with a range of backgrounds and needs towards meeting agreed targets. Be fully proficient in the latest Adobe CC suite of products in particular Premiere Pro, Photoshop, post production
Desirable - Industry Experience of TV and Film production, experience within a classroom setting
