Job overview
We are looking for a Medical Needs Coordinator within our school , this is a new and exciting position, the successful candidate will be someone who will be able to lead the school’s management of medication and first aid across the whole school as well as promoting healthy living to all our students.
Maplewell Hall is a school for students with moderate learning difficulties and Autism aged from 11 – 19 years. The school is situated in extensive grounds in Charnwood Forest just outside Woodhouse Eaves. We have approximately 200 students within the main school and 40 students within our autism provision MAP.
Working with our students at Maplewell is both challenging and rewarding. We have a strong academic ethos and high aspirations for our students who are extremely well motivated. Our team of staff work together to develop students' confidence, academic and practical life skills, preparing them for life after school.
The successful candidate will have experience of either working with young people or in a care setting and of administering medication, This is a permanent position 37 hours per week for 43 weeks per year.
