We are passionate about providing high quality education for all pupils with SEND. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated middle leader as from 1st January 2019 or earlier. The successful candidate will join our dedicated leadership team to further develop our school. 

Successful candidates will be passionate about raising standards in teaching and learning and will have the ability to effectively share this expertise with others. Ideally, candidates will have experience of working with pupils with complex and severe learning difficulties. 

Oak Wood Schools Academy will offer the successful candidate encouragement and support to develop their leadership skills, a comprehensive training programme and the opportunity to make that vital difference in shaping the future of our school. 

Oak Wood Primary School is an oversubscribed and successful generic primary school. The school has increased its pupil numbers by over 25% over in the past two years. Currently there are 125 pupils on role and this is due to further increase over the next academic year. Oak Wood Primary School is part of a two school Multi Academy Trust and share the site with its sister school, Oak Wood Secondary School.

1 Outline your skills and knowledge in relation to the areas outlined in the person specification.

2 Include a paragraph outlining an initiative or project that you have been involved in that has impacted on a whole school level
