Job overview
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Management Information Services team at Derby College.
As MIS Clerk you will provide assistance with the collection and processing of data for the College's Management Information Systems, providing an excellent customer service to all stakeholders. You will work flexibly and will support the wider MIS and Exams teams during peak times including invigilation and timetabling.
The successful applicant will have experience of working as a member of a team delivering a key support service which is customer focussed and will demonstrate the ability to enter and retrieve data to high levels of accuracy using a range of IT packages and systems. A strong understanding of the Skills and Education Funding Agencies and HEFCE funding rules as well as knowledge and practical experience of working with EBS and PIC's management information systems would be an advantage.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.
Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
