MIS Officer

Grade 5:  £19,808 to £22,307 per annum (actual salary to reflect term time working)

35 hours per week (7:45 am until 3:15 pm)

41 weeks per academic year

The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated data management team.   The post-holder will report to and work closely with the MIS Manager to deliver a friendly, efficient and accurate data information service to support the growing needs of the Academy.  This will include the accurate inputting of data, assessment and MIS information, and the administration, processing and reporting of exclusions and admissions.  The role will also be responsible for the organisation and administration of short-term supply staff and daily cover arrangements as directed by the MIS Manager, along with other duties to support colleagues within the department at key times of the academic year.

The role will be subject to the completion of a successful 6 month probation period.

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role a working knowledge of SIMS is required, along with previous experience of data management, analysis and reporting from large databases.  A high level of skill in the use of Excel and Word is required and suitable candidates will be customer-orientated, a strong team player and motivated to relish in the challenge of working in a busy and dynamic school environment.  You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively with other colleagues.  

The School
