Community Learning MK is looking to appoint a strong and experienced strategic manager to lead Milton Keynes Music Hub. The Music Faculty is the Hub lead and also includes The Stables, MK Music Co-op, and Milton Keynes City Orchestra as partners amongst others.
The post holder will work closely with and influence key stakeholders, especially schools and help to increase the amount, the quality and accessibility of music education delivered across Milton Keynes
The post holder will provide strategic direction to the Music Faculty which is a small team (3 mangers, 7 teachers) that manage and deliver whole class provision as well as Music Centre large groups and ensembles and all of the events associated with these.
The Music Faculty does not deliver any 1:2:1 or small group instrumental teaching as the vast majority of this is delivered by MK Music Co-op which is a key stakeholder and the post holder will be expected to maintain and develop this key strategic partnership.
With a salary of up to £48,331 (pro rata) for the right candidate who will lead the hub forward with a creative vison for music education in MK.
