Closing date:

Date posted:
Contract type: Part Time / Full Time
Salary: £18,000+
Contract term: Permanent

An enthusiastic and self-motivated person is required from September 2018 (or earlier) to join the Marketing and Foundation Department, focussing on the many school and fundraising events and the public fundraising campaign for the exciting new Holroyd Community Theatre at Moreton Hall.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, IT knowledge including database and website management, a creative eye for design as well as outstanding attention to detail. A good telephone manner is essential.

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is required, particularly Word and Excel. Knowledge of Photoshop and Database management packages would be an advantage.

Ideally suited for university leavers (although a degree is not essential), this is a great opportunity to gain experience within event management, marketing, PR, advertising, alumnae relations and extensive fundraising. It will also include a lot of routine, unglamorous tasks – so you need to be proactive and prepared to muck in and get your hands dirty! An interest in theatre is an advantage.
