St John Fisher College is a Catholic secondary college in the Mercy tradition offering a contemporary education for young women who are encouraged to go far, see more and reach further. Administered by Brisbane Catholic Education the College has 640 students in 2022 and continues to grow. With an emphasis on enquiry based learning, the College offers an academically challenging curriculum and a diverse range of pathways, with an emphasis on building resilience. Due to growth in student numbers at the College we have three full time continuing positions for teachers with any combinations of the following subjects:
• Senior and Junior English
• Religious Education
• Digital Technologies
Two 12-month contract positions (Parental Leave) with any combination of the following subject areas:
• Business (including TAE)
• Junior & Senior English
One 6-month contract position (Parental Leave):

The successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to the education of young women and will work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers. They must possess an ability to attend to detail using innovative and creative practices and possess a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA curriculum and associated processes. A demonstrated commitment to support our extensive co-curricular program is essential.

To be successful in this role you will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
