We are looking to appoint an outstanding and motivated music and drama teacher with a proven track record of achievement. Applicants need to be flexible and able to teach and develop the music and drama programme across the school.

Experience of teaching music and drama is essential; experience of teaching with the International Curriculum would be an advantage.

You must be willing and able to prepare students for a Christmas concert and present this to parents and friends of JFK in the local church, as well as producing a whole school production at the end of each Academic Year. This would involve all students from Reception to Year 9. You should be able to offer a musical instrument, preferably piano, as an after school activity.

It would be an advantage if the successful candidate could also teach History to the Middle School students (Years 6-9) or EAL across the school. For this second role you would work under the Head of EAL, liaising with her and the other EAL teachers as necessary.

Please note that only EU / Swiss nationals applications will be considered due to strict Swiss working permit regulations.  The ability to drive a minibus would be an advantage. References will be taken from 2 sources and you must be able to provide evidence of your teaching and sports qualifications.
