Job overview
To work alongside a small team with a special interest and experience in early years and group teaching.
The role includes
- Early Years group teaching and cover as required
- Group Instrumental teaching and cover as required
- Co-ordinate teacher placement and support
Assist Music House’s team in
- Development of early years and group teaching programmes
- Development of teaching books
- Monitor and assessment of music teachers (in and out of the school)
- General administrative duties
- Client and teacher communication
- Development and delivery of workshops, shows and concerts
The candidate should
- Be a trained instrumental teacher (preferably a multi-instrumentalist)
- Have early years teaching experience and love working with nursery ages.
- Be computer savvy including having experience with data input and online presence
- Have knowledge in computer software including Adobe Suite, proficient with iOS (Apple)
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be an effective and proactive team player
- Be comfortable with managing deadlines
- Bring a creative flair and energy to the role, and willing to learn new avenues
