Job overview

To work alongside a small team with a special interest and experience in early years and group teaching.

The role includes

  • Early Years group teaching and cover as required
  • Group Instrumental teaching and cover as required
  • Co-ordinate teacher placement and support

Assist Music House’s team in

  • Development of early years and group teaching programmes
  • Development of teaching books
  • Monitor and assessment of music teachers (in and out of the school)
  • General administrative duties
  • Client and teacher communication
  • Development and delivery of workshops, shows and concerts

The candidate should

  • Be a trained instrumental teacher (preferably a multi-instrumentalist)
  • Have early years teaching experience and love working with nursery ages.
  • Be computer savvy including having experience with data input and online presence
  • Have knowledge in computer software including Adobe Suite, proficient with iOS (Apple)
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Be an effective and proactive team player
  • Be comfortable with managing deadlines
  • Bring a creative flair and energy to the role, and willing to learn new avenues
