Are you a Music Teacher looking to work in Derby City Schools from September? Then ABC Teachers have a fantastic opportunity for you. ABC Teachers work very closely with a number of schools in the Derby City area and one of these has requested a fully qualified teacher of Music for a 4-month placement. 

The School are looking for someone to cover a maternity leave and will look to appoint the right person in the second week of the school year. The post will then last up until the Christmas break. 

As the role is full time the school expect the successful candidate to undertake the role of a regular teacher, meaning you will be required to plan, prepare, mark and attend parent’s evenings. 

The school is an improving one and have taken many strides in recent year to carry on that improvement. In order to keep heading in the right direction the school are looking for someone who will be able to quickly fit in well and also someone with strong behaviour management. 

Pay for the role is dependent on experience, although experienced teachers and NQT’s alike are invited to apply for the role.
