Fantastic opportunity for a creative and forward thinking Music Teacher or Specialist to have a big impact in our rapidly improving school and lead the provision of music. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and inspirational Music Teacher or Specialist to join us at Southgate Primary School. We are looking for a Music Teacher/Specialist to promote and develop music within the school, who is either a Qualified Teacher, or has a proven track record and experience in delivering music in a school setting. 

The successful applicant will have a real passion for delivering music lessons to children in a fun and creative way, and will generate music based opportunities both in school and in the wider communities. You will be a vital member of our team, working within a well- resourced environment with children who are keen to learn and like to be challenged. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to set up a music provision and resource it as they see fit and be well supported by the use of a range of Apple technology.   They will devise a modern, creative and progressive music curriculum to engage children and create a love of music.

 • be able to challenge children to achieve beyond their expectations.
 • be able to provide stimulating and engaging experiences for our children and support them in become lifelong learners.
