We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic practitioner to work in our Musical Theatre department, which attracts very talented, hardworking and committed students.
Ex-students now populate all areas of theatre, dance and music related industries. Our facilities include a wide range of teaching, rehearsal and performance spaces, including two fully-equipped 300 + seated theatre spaces. Students follow BTEC courses at Key Stage 4 and UAL courses in Post-16, with GCSE and A-Levels.
The successful candidate must be confident in musically directing full-scale productions, and will be experienced in leading group singing and repertoire classes. The candidate must be an accomplished pianist, and will be required to accompany and play at sight.
Candidates must be enthusiastic and self-motivated, and will be able to contribute to the continued development of this unique and forward thinking department. They must be confident working with a diverse range of students in both a classroom and performance context.
The Brit School runs a 5 Term academic year with some school holidays falling at different times to the usual Local Authority school breaks. Please see our web site for further details of our term dates.
