The three-day Netball Camp is designed for boys and girls, aged 8-15 years who are looking to improve their netball skills. We will be running both a Junior Day Camp for children aged 8-9 years old and a Senior Residential Camp for children aged 12-15 years old on the 19th - 21st August 2024. Our Netball Camp is designed to challenge players, to advance their skill set and improve their confidence in a fun and enjoyable environment.

We aim to provide a sporting programme that is completely inclusive for both boys and girls. Our young players will be supported by our experienced coaches, in partnership with England Netball and activity staff to reach their best at whatever level they strive for, sporting the Quant Je Puis 'as much as I can' attitude at all times.

The Netball Support Coach will be responsible for delivering the coaching programme whilst inspiring, encouraging and enhancing the experience of every child. They will be responsible for introducing children to the game of netball and help to develop their skills in a fun and safe environment.

They will also ensure that all support staff deliver a high-quality sporting provision, supporting the development of individual players.

We are looking for a great communicator, excellent organiser and a candidate who can build positive relationships with colleagues and children alike. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role but above all you'll be passionate about the sport you teach and motivating and inspiring young people.

Course Dates and Salary Information

  • The contract dates are Monday 19th August 2024 - Wednesday 21st August 2024 inclusive, which includes a staff induction day of Friday 11th July (paid)
  • Working hours will generally be 9am-4pm each day
  • We offer a salary from £15.00 per hour and meals are provided whilst on duty

Stonyhurst College is the UK’s leading Catholic co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 3-18. Boarding is from the age of 7.

At the College, there are approximately 498 pupils aged 13-18, two thirds of whom are boarders.  At Stonyhurst St Mary’s Hall, the adjacent dedicated preparatory school, there are around 240 pupils aged 3-13.  Stonyhurst is set in stunning countryside, near the Ribble and Hodder rivers and the beautiful Trough of Bowland. persecution in England,  Stonyhurst educated the boys of the English Catholic aristocracy and gentry.
