Tes is currently seeking an ambitious None Teaching Head of Year for a well-renowned and high achieving school seeking to expand its successful and friendly School.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, articulate and engaging Head of Year to support the variety of behavioural, emotional and academic needs of students in order to promote high standards of behaviour and ensure that students make at least the required amount of progress in their learning across all subjects. Within this role, you will also track and improve attendance of students. You will promote and adhere to the Trust’s values to be unusually brave, discover what’s possible, push the limits and be big hearted. In order to succeed in this role, you will ideally have previous experience working within a school and be confident about taking on a post where you will need to motivate and inspire students.

The appointed candidate will benefit from working alongside a highly experienced department of subject practitioners, alongside support from a highly visible SLT team.

The school is seeking candidates that can inspire learners and bring the magic back into school and would urge candidates with fresh ideas to get in touch!

  • a relevant degree would be advantageous 
  • Grade C in Maths and English at GCSE level
