Job overview

Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Treloar’s is a ground-breaking organisation managing one of the largest specialist Schools and Colleges in the UK for young people with disabilities. Our fundamental purpose is simple: to enable disabled young people to fulfil their potential in every aspect of their lives.

We are looking for an exceptional nurse, with prescribing skills (V300).

Our large nursing team are committed to delivering, training and supporting high quality care to enable our 170 students to access education in our school and college.  All our students (aged 2-25yrs) have physical disabilities and we administer >250,000 medications per year. We have an exciting opportunity for an independent nurse prescriber to develop this service in their own way, and take our provision forward, enabling us to meet the needs of students, now and in the future.

You will be an independent nurse prescriber (following completion of V300), as a minimum, or you may be registered as an advanced nurse practitioner and looking to expand your skills into a new area. You will have recent experience working with children and young people with a disability, or life limiting conditions, or a special interest in this field which you can develop with us.

We are able to offer many development opportunities to enhance your practice and leadership skills. You will be joining a team who have immense job satisfaction, and love making a real difference to the lives of our students. We also enjoy continuity of care, an inspiring atmosphere and a great work life balance. We are proud to be rated Outstanding by CQC and OFSTED.
