31 hours and 55 minutes per week, 39 weeks per year (Term-Time plus INSET days)

BTCT Points 3 to 4. Starting on Point 3, actual salary, £14,028 per annum

Our nursery is part of the Primary Phase in Bridgwater College Academy. Applications are invited from individuals that are motivated and enthusiastic about working with young children in a nursery setting.

Applications are invited from individuals that will work as part of an enthusiastic team, where all staff are dedicated to raising standards and improving children’s life chances.

A Level 2 or 3 qualification is required, with experience of working in a Nursery setting.

Bridgwater College Academy is the only all-through mainstream Academy in Somerset and opened in 2012.  Student numbers are divided equally between Primary and Secondary phases; we also have a nursery provision too. The Academy was the first sponsored Academy within the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust, which now hosts seven Academies and is itself set to continue to expand in the future.
