Would you like to work for a successful multi academy trust in Hertfordshire?

Are you an existing Manager looking for a new opportunity and challenge?

If so, Bushey St James Trust (BSJT) has a fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join our growing multi academy Trust. The successful person will be responsible for the management and development of our new ‘Little Gems Nursery’ which opens in September 2018. The nursery is an exciting new initiative offering subsidised childcare to members of staff employed by BSJT.

The successful person will be there from the start providing a great opportunity for an individual who wants to be actively involved with setting up and establishing the new nursery. The nursery itself will initially be located at Little Reddings Primary School which already has an established and well-led nursery. We are looking for someone who has: excellent childcare skills and holds a Level 3-6 in a childcare qualification, proven staff development and team management skills, great organisational ability, ambitions to provide the very best experience for our children and families and an interest in the latest Early Years trends and initiatives.

The Little Gems Nursery will be open from 8.00am to 6.00pm weekdays during term-time so some flexibility will be required with working patterns/hours. The salary for the post is APT&C points 29 – 32 + fringe (currently £26,470p.a. to £29,055p.a. + £857p.a.), paid pro-rata based on hours worked. Actual salary point will depend on skills and experience.

Bushey St James Trust is a great place to work and is made up of Bushey Meads School, Little Reddings Primary School and Hartsbourne Primary School. All of our schools have strong links with other local schools and good practice and ideas are shared across the Trust. Transport links are good with the M1, M25, A1 and A41 being close by and local bus routes are only a short walk.

Full details of the vacancy can be found on our website www.busheymeads.org.uk along with further information about the school and the Trust. Alternatively, please contact the HR team on 020 8955 8833.

If you would like to apply for this exciting opportunity, please send in a completed application form along with a covering letter, addressed to Mr J Turner, Executive Principal.
