A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Manager to join our Nursery at Cuddington Community Primary School.

Work week: 36 hrs, Monday – Friday. Working start times and finish times will be flexible to include wrap around care. The working pattern will be made in agreement with the Head of School.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate individual who can bring outstanding childcare skills and innovation to our nursery. The successful candidate will be leading a busy school based nursery class and building effective working relationships at every level.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least two years experience of leading a nursery and managing nursery assistants.
  • Early Years Childcare Qualifications (Level 4/5 or above).
  • Firm knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements.
  • Secure knowledge and understanding of the latest Early Years Framework and regulations.
  • A good understanding of creating a rich, play-based curriculum to stimulate children.
  • The ability to to multi-task and establish good rapport with staff, families and external agencies.

You will be responsible for providing high quality and flexible childcare for families. Oversee the operation of the nursery to the highest standards, ensuring that the best possible education, learning environment and care are provided for young children. Essentially you will have proven line management experience in a similar setting together with effective communication skills and an excellent understanding of EYFS.
