We require a Nursery Manager to come and lead our wonderful team in our vibrant and exciting setting. We cater for children from 2-4 years old who are keen and eager to learn. Their inquisitive nature means we require someone that can move the children’s learning on in a direction that will keep them engaged and wanting to learn more. You will need to have a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above to lead our experienced staff team supporting children in our Little Gems Nursery.
Applicants must demonstrate a good knowledge of the requirements of the EYFS, have good planning and observations skills together with experience of working with children in this age-range.
Your aim in a nursery should be centred around giving the young children the best possible start to their life in education. Each day will be a new adventure with their young minds.
Every day you will be teaching language, literacy and numeracy, helping the nursery reach the early learning goals of the national curriculum, along with encouraging good behaviour.
Aside from working with the children, your job also involves the following, engaging with parents, planning exciting activities for the setting to excite the children’s love of learning, analysing and recording each child's progress and helping your staff team with their professional development to give our children the very best start in their educational journey.
