SILS is an 11-16 Pupil Referral Unit with a mixed ability, multi ethnic student population. Ofsted (2018) confirmed our status as “a good school” with the work of our committed staff team ensuring that our learners make good progress.
The role
We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and energetic teacher for our key stage 3 Nurture Group.
The successful applicant will be a creative and skilled primary trained teacher. You will be responsible for the delivery of Maths, English, Humanities and life skills/SEAL within a primary styled setting to a small group of learners.
The successful applicant will have considerable influence over the shaping of the nurture curriculum and the personalisation of the provision for learners. You will need to be committed to our school values and driven by the desire to improve the life chances of all young people.
