Office Manager at Alston Lane Catholic Primary School

About the Role

We are looking to appoint an experienced, proactive, approachable and enthusiastic Office Manager at Business Admin 5 (Grade 7), starting in July 2024, or sooner if possible. They will work alongside existing office staff in our busy yet supportive school office. The successful candidate will be a problem solver and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for children in school.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a school office and have detailed knowledge and understanding of school systems and practices, including school information management systems and finance software. (Ideally, they will have used Arbor as a school management system). They will work in conjunction with the Headteacher to manage the school budget, human resources and the day-to-day running of the administrative systems in school, including some responsibility for aspects of health and safety. This is a part time position (28 hours per week). The hours of working are Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 4pm with half an hour for lunch, for 39 weeks of the year.
