Franciscan Primary School seeks an experienced and proactive candidate to manage the operational services of our bustling primary school, from September 2019.  You will manage a small team, taking responsibility for the overseeing of all of the school office duties in relation to pupils, parents and the wider community, Health and Safety, facilities management as well as the letting and hiring of premises. You will be an integral part of the school’s operational function, providing support to the Headteacher and Governors to actively promote and support the efficient operations of the school.  

This is a varied and rewarding role with an excellent opportunity to play a central role in the effective and smooth running of our school. You will have at least 2 years’ experience in working within a school office environment [primary or secondary, excellent communication skills and will demonstrate a clear understanding of the need for effective operational management required for a busy school environment. 

Candidates will demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills, including knowledge of SIMS. You will have the ability to manage a busy environment, lead, motivate and inspire a team of staff to deliver a warm and welcoming front of house for pupils, staff and visitors within the framework of the wider Graveney Trust.
