We are looking for a dynamic and skilled operations manager to support the effective and efficient running of our school. This is a new post created to lead our team of dedicated and experienced support staff. As part of the Coombe Academy Trust, the post holder will have access to a dynamic central team of Trust staff.  The successful candidate will have excellent people skills and a proven track record of working with others to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of an organisation, in the public or private sector. 

The post holder will build systems to support the school in delivering an outstanding education to all the young people in our care. This post holder will report directly to the Headteacher and will work with other senior leaders to drive school improvement. Like all our staff, the successful candidate will demonstrate a firm commitment to enabling the young people in our care to thrive. 

This is a full time role (36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year), based at Coombe Girls’ School in New Malden. In order to arrange to cover absent teachers, this role does require a 7am start time with a mid afternoon finish time. 

 The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

  • Be able to work effectively and constructively as a member of a team.

  • Have the ability to work in a busy environment, be able to multi-task and perform well under pressure. 
  • Good ICT skills to support learning and complete administrative tasks.  
  • The ability and willingness to learn new skills.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
