Purpose of the role

Cathedral Schools Trust (CST) is seeking to appoint a PA and Office Manager from March 1st 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.

This is a unique opportunity to join a school at its inception. You will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher to prepare, launch and lead a new School and oversee the administrative staff, shaping structures and leading on standards.

The successful candidate will have a positive and productive outlook with a high level of initiative, competence and confidentiality in their professional capacity at Trinity Academy. A clear understanding of the expectations of the role, together with an appreciation and awareness of the needs of young people will be expected in an environment which values, respects and celebrates pupil aspiration and achievement. You will need a ‘can do’ attitude and will need to be highly flexible, covering many roles at the start of the Academy’s life.

This is a challenging role, requiring calm efficiency, an eye for detail and good humour, and the ability to build strong and positive relationships with students, parents, governors and staff. The candidate should have excellent IT skills, be well organised, have a professional approach to work and be able to prioritise workloads to meet critical deadlines.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the creation of a new school and make a major contribution to the school’s success.

If you can demonstrate that you possess the necessary experience, knowledge and qualifications and aspire to our values and vision then we would like to hear from you.
