37 hours pw x 42 weeks per   year (term time + 3 weeks) 48.1 Paid Weeks p/a

Salary Range: Band 4 – Points 26 to 34 – £23866 to £30756 (fte)

· Are you enthusiastic, well-qualified and professional with experience in a PA or senior secretarial role? 

· Do you have a calm, flexible and cheerful outlook plus a willingness to provide support for staff, students and visitors to the school? 

If so, we'd like to hear from you. You will be expected to provide a high-quality administrative and secretarial service to the Head Teacher and members of the Senior Leadership Team. You will have responsibility for the management of student services staff and this will include responsibility for the accurate management of the Single Central Record. You will also have line management of the Premises Manager. 

Moulsham High School has a close working relationship with an on-site early year’s childcare provider. This enables staff working at the school to receive a discount if full day nursery or wrap around care is required.

Applicants should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to use their own initiative and manage their own workload, and be able to prioritise high volumes of work. You should also have strong IT (MS Office) and problem-solving skills and an understanding of an educational environment. Knowledge of SIMs (the school's database) and experience of reviewing/proof reading documents, marketing - including website and social media, producing newsletters and minute taking would be an advantage. Willingness to be first aid trained is essential for holiday working.
