You will have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience and have high level administration skills as well as being computer literate with good keyboard skills. You will have demonstrable good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to meet deadlines whilst being adaptable to changing work patterns and practices.

The successful candidate will manage the reception and site team staff, ensuring that communication with parents and the public, and the marketing of the school (checking letters, website development, social media, newsletters and the prospectus) are of a high standard and the site is always safe and compliant. You will be able to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels to offer education focussed solutions, putting students at the heart of all decision making.

Stamford Welland Academy and Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust are committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring service check. We expect all adults who work for the Trust to share our commitment to safeguarding and the health and wellbeing of our students.

Ofsted report

At our latest Ofsted inspection, we were judged as ‘Good’ in all areas. The report published in September 2021 heaped praise on our leadership team and followed our impressive Key Stage 4 results which were also the best results the school has ever recorded.

The inspectors said: “Leaders have done much to improve the school, including the quality of education. They have set high expectations of pupils’ behaviour and attitudes to learning. They have strengthened relationships with the local community. These improvements have led to more parents wanting to send their children here.

“Pupils study a broad range of subjects. In key stage 4, they are encouraged to study subjects that leaders believe will help pupils in the future. As a result, there has been a large increase in the number of pupils who study languages. Leaders make ambitious decisions about the curriculum which are in the best interests of the pupils. For example, they have changed how pupils study the different subjects in Years 7 and 8 to address previous underachievement at the end of key stage 4.”
