Job overview

An enthusiastic and committed, part time, Classics teacher is required for maternity cover from April 2018. 

We are looking for a well-qualified classicist to teach Latin and Classical Civilisation throughout the age range from Years 8 to 13. The position may suit a newly qualified teacher or someone with experience. 

All girls study Latin in Year 8 and continue with either Latin or Classical Civilisation in Year 9. Latin and Classical Civilisation are offered at both GCSE and A level.

Talbot Heath is an independent girls’ school for ages 3-18 set in pleasant grounds in Bournemouth, with an outstanding academic record.
