The International Community School of the Cote d’Azur offers an innovative bilingual education to a diverse community of learners in an attractive and sought after region. An IB World School, we are seeking to appoint creative, dynamic teachers who are skilled with inquiry-based learning and differentiated practices.
Priority will be given to candidates with at least 3 years experience in international schools that deliver a play-based /inquiry -based education for young learners, preferably in an IB World School (Primary Years Programme)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS to obtain a work visa :
- A university degree
- PGCE/QTS teacher certification or equivalent (EAL /ESL /TESOL certificates cannot be accepted as qualifications for this position).
- To be considered for the position, candidates are expected to to have:
- 3 years full time experience as an EYFS or PYP classroom teacher ( teaching all subjects) in an anglophone or international school
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (native level)
- As a bilingual school, working knowledge of French is a plus
Other qualities sought:
- Strong collaborative planning skills (class groups are taught by two teachers, one English, the other French)
- Flexible mindset,
- Create an efficient and effective working relationship with other classroom staff ( teaching assistants)
