Part -time Groundskeeper - Level 4 - 26.5 hrs p/week, St Teresa's Catholic College, NOOSAVILLE

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;

• currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and

• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We seek a Part -Time Groundskeeper 26.5hrs per week - Term time only. Mon - Thurs. The successful applicant for this position is required to demonstrate competency involving the application of knowledge and a broad range of skills. We envisage this person to possess a helpfulness of spirit and flexibility and excellent skills in an environment where there is a great deal of people interaction. Excellent organisational skills including initiative and self-management, as well as the ability to work with limited supervision and guidance are required. The Groundskeeper works closely with the Business Manager to ensure that at all times throughout the year the grounds at the College are presented in an optimal manner. This includes ovals, courts, courtyards, gardens, lawns and other plantings. The successful candidate will ensure all ovals and courts are presented in optimal playing condition to ensure the safety of players and for students to be given the opportunity to enjoy and develop skills in sports such as netball, soccer, tennis, rugby, football and athletics. Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019
