Part time KS1 teacher needed in Birmingham

ABC teachers are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join this hard working and vibrant school in Sheldon, Birmingham on a long term basis from February 2018. The role will be working with a mixed ability Y1/2 class and you will be working on a job share basis. The school itself is well regarded due to the balanced education provided and the longstanding relationships within the local community.

The role will require a teacher who is dedicated towards pupil development and someone who can demonstrate the highest regard for health and safety, and safeguarding procedures. You will be able to quickly build positive and professional relationships and you will be a positive role model and team player with your colleagues. You will be confident in delivering the national curriculum and you will be able to bring new ideas to share with the team. 

The role will be working on a 0.6 contract, days can be flexible, and you must be able to commit to the entirety of the role.

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
