ABC teachers are working in close partnership with a popular 2 form entry school in Cheswick Green, Solihull to recruit a part time KS1 teacher. The role will be covering PPA sessions where you will have previous experience of working with small groups and working closely with class teachers and the Senior Leadership Team.

The school itself is vibrant and exciting environment which embraces children of all abilities and backgrounds and the staff work well as a team to provide a balanced and varied education. The school supports a fair and inclusive ethos and also benefits from modern learning resources within each classroom.

The ideal teacher will be confident and proactive individual who can shape and drive the curriculum for the needs of the children. You will show devotion towards pupil development and you will be consistent in maintain high standards across the school.

The role will be a 0.4 contract, working afternoons only, and the days can be flexible for the right candidate. You will be required to start after February half term and this will run on a rolling contract until Easter half term, potentially until the end of the academic year. 

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
