The role

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a part-time PPA teacher (3 days per week) to work in a one-form entry school in Hounslow. The suitable candidate will be required to provide relief for the class teachers and provide cover across all year groups in primary. The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management skills and a passion for working with children of all ages across primary.  The role is to start almost immediately until the end of the academic year 2022. The school

The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and we have received some really positive feedback from the staff who have worked there. Staff always say that they feel welcomed and supported and once long-term, the school always include temporary staff within their CPD programmes as well as other packages to help boost staff well-being and morale. The children are encouraged to develop academically and socially using creative and exciting resources to instil a love and curiosity for learning. Sports is also a key area that is focused on to activate a healthy and engaged lifestyle. This is encouraged daily. The pupils can be challenging from a behavioural point of view in KS2. The ideal candidate will therefore have strong behaviour management skills.
