Blackpool Sixth is an outstanding college specialising in 16-19 education, we have an exciting opportunity for a School Liaison Officer to join our team. This fixed term position is well suited to you if you are either looking for the first steps in to teaching or if you are looking to advance an already established career in a thriving and supportive workplace. This post is 22.5 hours per week term time only and is fixed term until the 12th July 2019, with a possibility of extension.
Based in Admissions, Liaison and Marketing you will work closely with others in the department to promote Blackpool Sixth, develop strong links with local high schools and help students progress smoothly from school to college. As well as delivering a range of workshops and presentations, you’ll contribute to events including careers evenings and carry out student interviews.
A day in Admissions, Liaison and Marketing could see you:
- give inspiring presentations to young people
- develop activities including open days and taster days
- assisting with the coordination and delivery of the Blackpool Opportunity Area Post-16 Transition project
