We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and hardworking Science Lab Technician at Penwortham Girls' High School.  This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, joining the school at a time of major investment into the resourcing and layout of the department. You will work as part of a dedicated staff team who strive to improve the delivery of innovative and practical science on a daily basis.

The working hours will be Monday to Thursday 12pm to 3.45pm and Friday 12pm to 3.30pm.

Penwortham Girls' High School is a popular, oversubscribed school, graded as outstanding in every category in its 2014/15 Ofsted inspection.  Ofsted recognised the 'culture geared towards success and excellence in achievement throughout the school.' The inspectors commented on the 'consistently high quality of teaching' whilst noting that 'staff are as concerned for students' personal well-being as they are about their academic success.'
